This three hour intensive session will start from the very beginning of Canasta and by the end of the session you will be playing Canasta using the basic Canasta rules.

This three hour intensive session will start from the very beginning of Canasta and by the end of the session you will be playing Canasta using the basic Canasta rules.
The session will introduce 4 person partnership Canasta.
What is Canasta? It is a card game played with two full decks of regular cards including the jokers. I like to call it Grown-Up Go Fish. The goal is to collect points by grouping like cards together (melding) and creating completed canastas (a canasta is 7 of a kind (7 Kings, 7 fours, etc.)) The Canasta version that is most popular now is 4-person partnership Canasta. Are there other versions? Of course, you can play two, or three person Canasta or you can play an extended form of Canasta called Hand and Foot that allows for more than four players.

Fee includes a basic instruction booklet.
