Timing:
9:30-9:50 am = mini lesson duplicate bridge etiquette and convention card
10 am – 12 pm (ish) = Novice game 0-50 MP
12 – 12:30 pm = review of hands played

$10/Player regular games
$2 added for special game days
(Baker’s Dozen orange card from pre-Covid is still good or buy one here)

New duplicate players come to play bridge and become comfortable with duplicate bridge. This 0-50 game is for novice players with 50 or fewer masterpoints. Players  receive a brief lesson on duplicate Bridge and Bridge etiquette then play 10-12 boards. Participants can use a cheat sheet and ask questions of the facilitator/director.  A handout of hands will be available for review. Let Bernadette know if you need a partner (24-hour notice preferred).

You can purchase a baker’s dozen card through our online shop, or in person with cash, venmo, or zelle. Information at the bottom of this description.

Kindly arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the game.

Convention cards required for each partnership. There will be blank ones available when you arrive.

Covered beverages permitted at gaming tables.

No food at gaming tables. Let’s keep our playing tables clean 🙂 There are sitting areas in the lobby where you can eat before and after the game (or between rounds).

Covid Precautions
We follow the current CDC recommendations for our area.

Currently masks are optional. (That can change quickly, be prepared to show a vaccination card or wear a mask.)

*Note: Baker’s dozen card holders need to pay the difference between purchase price and session fee. i.e. if you purchased a baker’s dozen card at the $10/session price and you attend a session that costs more than $10 a session will be checked off of the card and you pay the difference for the session you are attending.
