Weekly Online 9 Session Course Tuesdays: 7-8:30 pm. Dates: March 12 – May 7, 2024 $109 per person for all 9 weeks. Note: A-La-Carte Option: If you want to attend a specific week, you can register for just that week. The register by week fee is $20/class/person. To register for a specific week, please contact Bernadette at 856-795-7529.
They say the best offense is a great defense! Continue to round out your bridge playing skills by studying defense. Get the low-down on defensive strategies in this 9 session online course. Each week we will be examining a different defensive strategy through playing hands that demonstrate the specific defensive topic.
Weekly topics for Defense in the 21st Century – Bridge Class: Week 1: Opening Leads vs. No Trump Contracts. On Week 2: Opening Leads vs. Trump Contracts. For Week 3: Third Hand Play. During Week 4: Second Hand Play. Demonstrated on Week 5: Defensive signals: Attitude, count, suit preference. Illustrated on Week 6: Defensive cooperation to take your tricks. Happening on Week 7: Making it difficult for declarer to take tricks incl. hold up, attaching entries. Week 8: Defender’s PLAN Week 9: Tying it all together. Tech Requirements Internet-capable device.
