Each class begins with instruction and discussion, then participants practice bidding, playing and defending hands using the defensive techniques taught in the session.

Bidding topic: Review of responses to opening no trump bids incl. Stayman
Playing topic: Developing tricks in no trump contracts

Bidding topic: Opener’s rebids
Playing topic: Finesses

Week 5:
Defense topic: Defensive signals: Attitude, count, suit preference
Bidding topic: Rebids by responder
Playing topic: Trumping & discarding losers

Week 6:
