For those who already play Canasta, we offer multiple weekly Canasta play sessions. Visit the Game Friendzy calendar for dates and times.

Introduction to Canasta Saturdays. Canasta is a melding card game that can be played with 2, 3, or 4 players. We will be focusing on 4 person partnership Canasta. Join us for this 4 week course specifically for players new to Canasta. Specific topics for each week is below. Saturday 10 am -12 pm. Dates: September 7,14,21, October 5. Time: 10 am – 12 pm. Fee: $65/person. Drop in Fee: $20/person/session. Each participant will receive a direction packet and cheat sheet. Week 1: Playing your first hand of Canasta. We will begin by examining the deck, the card point values, melding, talons, and what to do when you get a 3 in your hand, the deal and basics of play. Week 2: Review of Canasta basics and continuing to play. New topics will include special canastas, of Sevens, Natural Aces, and Wild Card Canastas. Week 3: Continuing to play hands of canasta. New topic is scoring how to score a hand. Week 4:
Continuing to play hands of canasta.
