Description:
Bridge is a wonderful hobby played by people all over the world. Continue your introduction to bridge with this 9 week course. Keep your mind active, meet new people, learn to play bridge! This course continues for beginners to continue to learn and practice basic bridge skills.
Join us for a friendly, welcoming and interactive introduction to bridge. Bridge is a wonderful hobby that allows you to enjoy playing with a limited amount of knowledge and provides players with a life-long opportunity for developing and playing.
This course continues where Introduction to Bridge left off. Each class will start with an introduction to the topic and then we bid, play, and discuss as hands .
Very basic bridge knowledge required

Textbook: We follow the Beginning Bridge Using 2 over 1 Game Force by Jim Ricker. The textbook extremely useful but not required. Facilitator will be handing out information sheets that support each class. Participants are not required to purchase them but we do highly recommend it.

Class 1: Review of opening in a suit & responding
Class 2: Opening NT & Responding
Class 3: 2 Over 1 Review
Class 4: Overcalls
Class 5: Takeout Doubles
Class 6: Negative Doubles
Class 7: Competitive Bidding Review
Class 8: Weak 2 Opening and Preempts
Class 9: Putting it all Together
