Introduction to Bridge+: Bidding & Playing Practice Class. Dates: January 4- March 1 2025. Weekly In-person 9 Session Course. Saturday mornings 10 am – 12 pm.  A Deeper Dive into Basic Bridge Class It’s easy and enjoyable to play bridge at a basic level but for those ready to advance your skills and playing ability, this in-person course will take you to the next level. Designed for beginners, players returning to bridge after a hiatus, or anyone with a basic bridge knowledge and an interest in gaining a firmer grasp of the core bidding and playing concepts. The goal of the class is to play and bid as many hands as time allows, with the assistance of the facilitator, thus whole class direct instruction will be limited. Players at each table will bid, play, and discuss hands at their own pace. The course will run in-person for nine sessions on Saturday mornings 10 am – 12 pm. The fee is $109/person. Topics will include opening and responding at the 1 level, 1NT opening and responding (including Stayman & Jacoby conventions), overcalling, takeout doubles and advancing, weak opening, and playing strategies including basic defensive play.
