Continue your bridge studies from the comfort of your own home! Game Friendzy offers Monday evening online bridge classes 6-7:30 pm.

You can register for the entire course or for individual sessions.

Every class features direct instruction and then supervised play where everyone will bid, play, and examine a variety of hands related to the current topic.

Technical requirements: Internet capable device (computer or tablet recommended) with Zoom installed and ready to go. We also use Shark Bridge for playing the hands. You do not need a Shark Bridge account. Students access Shark Bridge through internet browsers such as Google, Edge, Safari etc.

March and April:

Splinter Bids: Online Course

Description
Shape can be as useful to find game or slam as points. Splinter bids allow both the responder and opener to show a shapely hand (with a single or a void) with at least game values.
This course will focus on the core concepts of the splinter bid and the continuing auction. 25 Bridge Conventions You should Know, updated version, chapter 11 will provide the base for instruction with supplemental materials provided.
Each week the facilitator will introduce the topic and then participants will bid, play and discuss hands related to the topic of the day. Handouts and hand records will be provided.

Bergen Raises: Online Course

Description
Bergan raises help the responder describe the shape and strength of their hand with support after their partner opens 1 heart or 1 spade. It allows us to show he number of supporting cards (3 vs. 4) and the strength of their hand.
This course will focus on the core concepts and applications of Bergen raises and the continuing auction. 25 Bridge Conventions You should Know, updated version, chapter 13 will provide the base for instruction with supplemental materials provided.
